Causes and solutions for sticking and picking of tablet press machine:

1. The surface of the punch is damaged or the surface finish is reduced, or there may also be rust proof oil, lubricating oil, rough surface of the new die or too deep lettering with edges and corners. The punch can be wiped clean, and the unqualified die can be replaced, or a small amount of liquid paraffin can be wiped on the surface of the lettering punch to make the lettering lubricated. In addition, check the cause and repair the equipment in case of sticking and picking caused by mechanical heating.

2. The design of engraving and punching characters is unreasonable. Replace the punch or change the character design accordingly.

3. Excessive moisture content of particles or uneven dryness and wetness of particles may cause sticking and picking. The particle moisture should be controlled at about 2%~3%, and the dry particle inspection should be strengthened.

4. The amount of lubricant is insufficient or the model is improper, and the fine powder is too much. The amount of lubricant shall be appropriately increased, or new lubricant shall be used, and excessive fine powder shall be removed.

5. The fineness of raw and auxiliary materials varies greatly, resulting in uneven mixing or improper mixing time. In this case, the raw and auxiliary materials shall be crushed and sieved to make their fineness meet the quality requirements of the variety, and the mixing time shall be well controlled.

6. Low adhesive concentration or poor adhesive force due to adhesive quality, and too much fine powder cause sticking and picking. Sieve out the fine powder with 40 mesh sieve, and after re-granulation, drying and granulation, mix the whole batch evenly, and then press the tablet.

7. It is caused by the raw material itself. Add a certain amount of absorbent to avoid sticking and picking.

8. The ambient humidity is too high. Reduce ambient humidity.

9. Too high temperature in the operating room of rotary tablet press is easy to cause sticking and picking. Care should be taken to reduce the operating room temperature.
